About Us

South Fayette Township is located in southwestern Pennsylvania, 15 minutes south of Pittsburgh and 15 minutes north of Washington, PA. The library is located at 515 Millers Run Road (within the Township's Municipal Building) and is minutes from the Bridgeville exit of I-79.

The library opened its doors on January 10, 1994 with a mostly-donated collection of 4,000 books. After nine years the municipal building was remodeled and the library moved into a larger space. We can now offer people comfortable seating, good lighting, work space, study carrels and ever improving collection of materials.

CUTS HURT!

State funding cuts are hurting libraries and those we serve. Shortend hours. Reduced books and other materials. Limited services. Please click the donation button below, so we can continue to provide South Fayette residents with the services they need.
