Anyone can become a Friend of the Library with a minimum suggested donation of $15.

Friends’ Support Makes A Difference
Each year, our Friends’ membership contributions are responsible for funding more than $5,000 worth of resources, programs, and specials projects. Friends’ support has allowed the library to offer a variety of children, teen and adult programming, including the library’s popular summer programs. In September 2023, the Friends sponsored both Beer for Books and an online raffle as part of Love Your Library month, raising over $9,000 for the South Fayette Township Library.
The Friends help to support the operation of the South Fayette Township Library through various activities including volunteering, funding or assisting with special programming, and hosting a variety of fundraisers.
The Friends of the Library is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.

Fundraising Chair: The Fundraising Chair acts as the primary contact for fundraising events and initiatives, such as sponsors, in-kind donations, and dine to donate events.
