Celebrate the Library during National Library Week

National Library Week (April 19-25, 2020) serves as a time to honor the contributions of our library and library workers to the South Fayette community and to highlight the role that the library plays in transforming lives and strengthening our community.

Even though National Library Week isn’t shaping up the way we initially planned, there is still plenty to celebrate, and we hope you will connect with us during this special week.

Each day, we will be highlighting a different aspect of library service and we invite you to share your experiences with us. We miss our library lovers and want to hear from you!

Monday: South Fayette Township Library: Annual Report Highlights with the Director

Our 2019 Annual Report review has been postponed until Thursday. We look forward to seeing you then.

Director, Ben Hornfeck will share highlights from South Fayette Township Library’s annual report. The library’s annual report contains figures for circulation, programming and more. How did we do last year? Come find out!

Tuesday: National Library Worker’s Day

National Library Worker’s Day gives us an opportunity to recognize our workers who serve the community by leading patrons to endless opportunities for engagement, enrichment, and discovery. Do you have a story that you would like to share about our library workers? Someone who went the extra mile? Let us know on our social media!

WednesdayWhat Does Your Library Mean to You?

Do you love your library, then let us (and your family and friends) know! Share a special story on our social media about what the library means to you or how it has made a difference in your life.

Thursday: Library Giving Day

Library Giving Day is an event that gives library lovers a chance to support their local library. In these unprecedented times, South Fayette Township Library is a constant.  And that is thanks to the caring support of individuals like you. We understand that not everyone is able to give, but every donation, no matter the size helps.
